I love stormy weather. The thunder and lightning excites me. I have tried several times and succeeded a few times to capture good pictures of lightning.

Have really been hoping that this storm tonight helps cool off the apartment. Apparently the Air Conditioner decided it was a good time to die. Not much luck though, unless I want to sleep on the floor in front of the patio door.

I got to visit with Ashley today after work and spent two hours with her and her Foster mom, Vikki. I really like her and am thinking I will be adopting her once I get in my new place. She is a shy little lady, but she seemed to really warm up to me in the time I was there and it felt like we would be a good match.

Rain is really coming down now. Thinking I need to curl up with my book and try to get to sleep.
