While in Chicago for the weekend, we decided to try out a brew pub I had came across. Overall impressions of the Haymaker were decent food, but they still need to work on their talents with beer. First I ordered a pint of their IPA. Not great, not bad, not a pint. They served their beers in a wine glass. I got maybe about half of what I asked for. After that, decided to give their tripel a try. Definitely not the beer I was expecting. Maybe I should have expected less when the waiter did not even know how to pronounce it.

At least tonight I am back home and got to run out to the Grump for the beer I love. Maggie is back and she is still the same grumpy old bitch I fell in love with.
